To check your current Software version,

• Power up the tuner
• go to the main menu and compare the number on the bottom left corner of the screen to the one found here.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Connect the Ultra device to the 2022 truck/ECM. Both the Ultra OBDII cable and the RSA Unlock must be connected for this procedure.
2. Key On, Engine Off, Tuner powered up – Go to: Main Menu > Settings > Service Codes – Enter code 4666

A message will appear SERVICE CODE WAS SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTED

EXIT

3. Go into Main Menu, Config tools, ECM information screen, take a picture and send it with the file to office@raceme.eu
   transmission type?
   Model/Year?
   And a picture of door sticker
4. Install the 2019-2021 ECM into the truck.
5. Program the recovery file to the 2019-2021 ECM.
6. The truck/ECM is now ready to be programmed with a Custom tunes

On some NEW 2019-2021 ECMs that do not have an OEM flash on it, the Ultra may display an error 14101 when attempting to write the recovery file.

If error 14101 is displayed on the Ultra, please follow the instructions below:

ECM Status:

1. ECM Indicator must be yellow, (bottom righthand corner of screen).
2. Recovery Programming stops with Error: 14101 / R 0D 1A 02 FF FF FF FF FF
   
3. Call Service-Code 6625 – this must end with “ECM’s BL data read!”
4. Start Recovery Again

Instructions: With 2019-2021 ECM installed in the truck:

1. Install the newest firmware – update the Ultra to the latest version.
2. Power up the Ultra in the truck – key on, engine off.
3. Main menu.
4. Settings.
5. Service Codes.
6. Enter Service Code 6625 – Must end with the message “ECM’s BL data read!”
7. Program Recovery file to ECM.
8. Program custom tune file to ECM.

To check which update you have, simply power up the tuner. The update will flash on the screen before the main menu.
